We’ve just finished Men’s Health Week, aiming to raise awareness of the gender gap in health, which sees Aussie men die on average 6 years earlier than women.

Here’s 4 ways for men to reduce the risk of heart disease
- Get your waist size below 95cm
- Get stronger: 40 pushups a day will do
- Stay connected with your mates
- Find out your individual heart disease risk
There are some easy steps Men can take, maybe you or your bloke needs a gentle nudge in the right direction. Here’s some ideas
✅ Get a heart health check at the GP (free on Medicare for over 45’s)
✅ Know your numbers: Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Body Mass Index and Blood Sugar levels
