Matt has seen more 50,000 clients in over 25 years of work as a Sports Physio. His insatiable thirst for knowledge helps Parkside stay at the cutting edge of contemporary sports medicine and rehab. Matt has worked with National and International athletes in cycling, triathlon, netball, soccer and BMX but gets the most satisfaction from helping local Mums and Dads smash their sporting goals. (Currently not treating due to a fractured, dislocated and now frozen shoulder)
Jay joined the Parkside team in early 2018 after working with local Orthopaedic Surgeons at Kareena Hospital and in private practice at Caringbah. He has a strong interest in sporting injuries and when he’s not working he is playing up front for Bosco FC’s top All-Age team. Jay runs our G;LAD Osteo-arthritis group exercise classes and has written our Ankle Sprain and Knee Pain Clinical Pathways that all our team use to guide our treatment. Jay has worked in the Cronulla Sharks Development system during 2019-2020 and recently completed the FIFA Football Medicine Diploma.
Gillian joined the Parkside team in 2011. She has extensive private practice and sports injury experience as well as being a qualified Pilates instructor. Gill has a special interest in complex, persistent conditions and has undertaken training with world leading researchers into chronic spinal pain. Gill uses her Pilates expertise in conjunction with hands on skills and education to get great results for her clients. Gill has a young family and enjoys tennis, Pilates and exploring the great outdoors when she is not at work.
Trish has a wealth of Physio experience, owning her own practice before joining Parkside in 2005. Trish uses her extensive skills and knowledge in the clinic, running our popular Hydrotherapy service at Engadine Health pool as well as performing home visits. Trish enjoys skiing, travel, Mountain Biking and Stand Up Paddleboarding in her spare time.
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Ashleigh has been part of our team since 2017. She uses her exercise prescription knowledge and skills to help with a number of health issues such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and muscle and joint rehab as well as neurological conditions like Parksinson’s disease. A former national level swimmer, she now enjoys snowboarding and travel.
Shaylee joined us in 2019 after graduating from ACU. Shaylee has a strong interest in swimming, competing at State and National Surf Lifesaving Championships as well as teaching learn-to-swim and squad coaching. Shaylee loves helping her patients recover from shoulder injuries, has an interest in surgical rehab and kids sporting injuries.
Erin joined us in 2020 after graduating from the University of Canberra. A shire local, Erin enjoys a wide variety of sports including rock climbing, trail running, going to the gym and skiing. She has a special interest in exercise for injury rehabilitation and is completing Yogalates teacher training.
